Certification for compliance with regulation II-2/19 of SOLAS
The requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods in packaged form have been changed with the new amendment to SOLAS including regulation II-2/19, which came into force on 1 January, 2011. The newly developed service GL Cargo provides valuable information for our clients on the changes in table 19.3 of SOLAS chapter II-2, regulation 19 and the revised standard format for the Document of Compliance for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods according to MSC.1/Circ.1266.

The BC Code has been replaced by the mandatory International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code, the IMSBC Code, came into force on 1 January, 2011. Certification of dry cargo ships in view of compliance with the provisions of the Code via GL PROTOS is being demanded increasingly by the industry.
